There are many legitimate reasons for voting absentee. You may be homebound or disabled, planning to be out of the county on a vacation or a college student away from home. In any case if you think you won't be able to get to the polls in person on Tuesday, November 4th, please TAKE ACTION TO RECEIVE AN ABSENTEE APPLICATION FROM THE COUNTY CLERK'S OFFICE by:
- Call or write (example written request below) the County Clerk to request an absentee ballot.
- Upon receipt of your reqest, the County Clerk will mail you an application for an absentee ballot.
- Upon receiving your application, complete an return in the envelope provided with the application.
- Your ballot will be mailed to you by the County Clerk's Office.
- RETURN YOUR ABSENTEE APPLICATION TO THE COUNTY CLERKS' OFFICE PROMPTLY!
